lyrics
The burning man, I am the beast of hell, walking lonely, wrapped in flesh.
Stalking the living, blending in, slipping faster from the grips of my own sanity.
A trainwreck, tragedies spawned from my finger tips.
Give me gasoline and I'll give you something to remember.
One by one, falling to their knees, laying face down.
One by one, all my dreams forsaken me.
To live and die alone, forever trapped inside your skull.
Such is the life we live, longing for what never comes.
An aimless vessel lead by what cannot be understood.
With no direction, I fall back to the Earth, open-armed.
Engulfed in fire, my flesh is boiling, I shine so bright, I bring you light. Head-first, I crash into your utopia, I crush your dreams.
Tearing and ripping through
Your screams soothing me
I hold you aloft
So you can see it all
Can’t you feel it, can’t you feel it?
Can’t you see it, can’t you see it?
Your fucking world is a sea of shit
Every attempt fall unto deaf ears
Why bother when everything dies
Only the naïve are willing to try
This empire has run it’s course
Burn all bridges, severe all ties
Countless flail in rising flames
Cities left in ruins, left to crumble
The dream has died
Reality is leaking in
Your walls are falling
Your world is burning
Tables have turned
Hatred manifests
Tides have turned
Your life will end

A bit of a different path from Goya here, although not so much to my personal taste. The EP has a confident swagger, like after a night of beer-ing it up on the town and now getting in your face and looking for a fight. Last is the weakest Goya song I've heard so far, one I'm likely to skip past, but The Enemy and Light Years are worth a listen. Master of Alchemy
